Punismnent is universal among religions. Which explains why in some states, prisons are filled to the brim and death row has a long waiting list. This shows that the judicial system is closely linked to religious beliefs.

I was just giving an example how the islam religions laws work in Islamic nations. If you follow the law then there should be no punishment. Its very simple, in U.S for example if you abide the law then you will have no problems with the law. If you drive 55mph on a 55mph highway then you dont have to worry about getting a ticket...

In islamic countries many ppl leave their business unattented to go for prayer and no one steals anything why because they are afraid of the religious laws that are enforced within the countries laws... etc etc etc... so it works and that it is a good thing I guess. right???

He said that wrong. Usually it's because of the belief system, how they follow the religion, and not because of being afraid of getting caught. Kind of like the belief if God. They don't believe in him because they are afraid of consequence(hell and whatnot), they believe in him because it is what it is, and that's the faith.

Capital punishment might be found in Koran. It can also be found in barbarian ways in the Bible and Torah. Therefore, the "righteous thinkers" who point at Muslims and claim they are blood thristy barbarians shall also be reminded that barbarism is found in any religion. Even in their's.

I am a believer and I try my best to follow laws of the book. I am not perfect and yes I have sinned. God is forgiving and I pray that he forgives me for my sins. I dont go to a priest and confess to him because he is not god. I confess to god and ask him to forgive me and hopefully he will. I am sure lil things that we commit sins will be forgiven but the major ones I dont know about. lol


I mean he gave us his laws and told us how to follow them. So if you dont then expect to pay for them...
