    US Presidents & Their Respective ~1 year Drama

    Starting at the top, name, then events that "shaped" their Presidency and their agendas. All of them have happened around their first two years in office mark, +/- a few months. At the end is the result of what we as a country got out of it.

    Barak Obama # 44 2009-

    Health Care Reform (3/23/10) Health Care Bill
    BP Oil Spill (4/20/10) ??? (Cap and Trade) ???

    George W. Bush # 43 2000-2009

    9/11 (9/11/01) Patriot Act

    Bill Clinton # 42 1993-2001

    Waco/Ruby Ridge (4/19/1993 & 8/21/1992) Brady Bill

    George H. Bush # 41 1989-1993

    Iraq I (1/17/1991) Began the US's fear of Middle-eastern society and gave US a new "enemy" to fear at the close of the Cold War.

    etc.
    Looks like we have been making sure to not waste a good crisis for a while now.

      but i would have added something about iraq II/afghanistan.

          ^ That didn't really change/alter anyone's agenda. That all falls under the 9/11 umbrella.

                      And those other thingys that keep popping up. What are they again?? Oh yeah, wars. Like 2 of them.

                      9/11 literally shaped the next 10 years, not to mention GWB's entire presidency.
