Taxes on Income/Wages/Labor = Illegal. WTF

Troof to this? I was watching a video the other day, and it explained that in the constitution or some legal supreme court decision, it stated that americans cannot be taxed for income from wages/labor, income tax can only be applied to gains/losses; as the money resulting from wages/labor is considered to not legally be able to be taxed. (due to it being a "private" transaction between the employer and person)

Is that so? If so, why the hell aren't more people aware of this?

Sorry, you haven't heard of anyone successfully defending an income tax evasion.

The answer is that you can always find evidence to back up a nutbag theory if you want to look hard enough.

Fact: Taxes are legal.
Fact: Taxation is actively enforced.
Fact: If you want to enjoy paying fines and/or going to jail, not paying your taxes is a good way to start.
