I drive an E30 for a DD. I have an E30 M3 as well. I understand them well and know how to search for what I need. These aren't new cars. The book's pretty well written, but if you'd feel better if I posted such inanities as to whether one can drive on 3 lugs or not, I'll continue to be a disappointment. And yes, Autozone stocks them. A lot of people search for info before posting yet they also have information and opinions to share and discuss about E30s. The E30 is mature and therefore much has been posted on various forums - if everyone only searched, there would no longer be dialog and/or the possibility of stimulating new ideas or growth of the community.

It seems to me that you have no interest in E30s, BMWs or cars in general, hence the trolling comment. I have no problem with you (or anyone with differing opinions) being here, however, this is an E30 board with a newly formed poli sci forum, not the other way around.

I'd take the otherside of the coin and say he's using satire and humor to cover a very ugly stand point that if you're on agreement with D. Cheney or don't believe he's Satan incarnate that you'll experience cosmic, karmatic justice and suffer some undecipherably horrible death. Or that perhaps D. Cheney is "getting what he finally deserves".

I hate to admit this, but when I was modding e30s the internet did not yet exist. If you wanted to know more you literally, physically had to search for the info. As in get off your ass and get on the phone, or actually go to the library and try to find publications that addressed your issue. I'm sorry if you felt taken to task about the lug bolts, but it is just so easy these days to type a few words into Google and find the answers to such questions. At the risk of sounding like the somewhat old fart I am, we actually had to try to find answers. Which is why you don't see me asking what filter to use or where the cheapest place to get "X" is in General Forums. I'd rather hang out in OT and talk about other things besides cars.

So anyway, I hope that explains it a little better.

If these cars had studs and lug nuts it wouldn't have been an issue, the lug bolt thing threw me off. Not offended - the guys at bimmerfest gave me a hard time about that, too :p
