Source? The first sentence of your link says "The US government has published a letter sent to First Minister Alex Salmond before the release of the Lockerbie bomber.

Not sure what your point is here?

That's not really the point here. it's the fact that Obama proves over and over he's a terrorist sympathizer.

          Fixed that for ya.

"The US is not prepared to support Megrahi's release on compassionate release or bail."

"The letter said the US could not endorse the release of Megrahi on any grounds"

See how that works? They're in Scotland, and idependant country. Scotland has the right to do whatever they want with their prisoners, they're not some subset of the US that has to obey our will. I completely disagree with their decission, but it was theirs to make. Now you accuse the president of being a terrorist sympathizer because he opposed the guys release??? Do you see how little sense that makes?

Oh and I seem to remember to bitching and moaning about the FBI, feds and justice department going after that right-wing terorist group that planned to blow up an FBI building and kill police, talking about how it was unfair, unlawful, extreme and totally uncalled for. So which is it? Is he a sympathizer or a hard ass? Because you seem to have trouble making up your mind.

Thanks again for proving liberals really are slow and "special".

This is one example of many. Do some research kid.

What are you trying to point at me for about something I wasn't defending exactly? With quotes of course...this should be fun.

You didn't even read your own link....LMFAO....

"Nevertheless if Scottish authorities come to the conclusion that Megrahi must be released from Scottish custody, the US position is that conditional release on compassionate grounds would be a far preferable alternative to prisoner transfer, which we strongly oppose."

"It said: "The United States would strongly oppose any release that would permit Megrahi to travel outside Scotland.

"We believe the welcoming reception that Megrahi might receive if he is permitted to travel abroad would be extremely inappropriate given Megrahi's conviction for a heinous crime that continues to have a deep and profound impact on so many.

"As such, compassionate release or bail should be conditioned on Megrahi remaining in Scotland."

                  Congrats on proving me correct.

The US did not want Megrahi released. And if Scotland did (given that, once again, they're their own country) decide to release him, the US strongly opposes him being returned to Libya.

Again, I fail to see how this qualifies as "terrorist sympathizer". I was not aware that 'Don't do X' actually meant 'Do X'.

"The US is not prepared to support Megrahi's release on compassionate release or bail.", "The letter said the US could not endorse the release of Megrahi on any grounds".

How does that make someone a terrorist sympathizer?

Even though your link does not say that I know that is what was said...but you left out the fact that the White House preferred release on compassionate grounds if anything. Get that through your head.
Now if Obama had some balls about it he would not have said if anything about on compassionate grounds. Compassionate grounds for a fucking terrorist.
