Are you okay with a Mosque being put there that supports terrorism?

Got any facts to back this assertion? Or more of your usual, ridiculous conjecture?

Want to talk about lack of respect for those affected? We're getting close to 10 years since the event and besides the rescue and clean-up there hasn't been shit done to take steps forward. I can't even bare to look at that fucking hole anymore because all I see is neglect. A city that's neglected to honor what happened there and yet has the audacity to PRETEND that it has.

        For reference though...
I don't like the idea just as much as the next guy. I grew up in those towers. My mom worked there, I went to daycare there, I was in the tower for the first bombing, and a block away during the second attack. I watched the place where I had spent a significant part of my childhood be deliberately destroyed in front of me by those people. I even still have the voicemail recording from after the first tower fell where my Dad is calling my grandparents and in the background I'm heard saying "whoever did this, I hope we fuck 'em in the ass 'til they're dead!" And I meant it.

I wouldn't piss on any of these ragheads if they were on fire. But fuck, the city of NY has no legs to stand on if they want to make the lack of respect accusation. Let them build it and let it burn down. Fuck Bloomberg too.

Yes I know logic sometimes has to be slowly pointed out. I can walk you through this one as well.

Damn right you wont because you know it'll lead to you and your liberal kind having to swallow the truth.
                      Thanks for that admission!

As I have said in other threads on this topic...

Muslim/Islamic ancestors ravaged/pilaged their way into Europe.

They took over most of present day Spain.

They enthroned their empire in Europe, in the faces of Europeans.

They had a name for this city...

                        It's name was Córdoba.

"During this time Cordoba was one of the largest cities in the world whose name continues to represent a symbol of Islamic conquest to many faithful Muslims around the world. "

It was the crown jewel of al-Andalus, from the mid 700's on.

                        Centuries have past.

The US is attacked, the Twin Towers came down.

The attack was carried out by a pack of radical, fundamental Muslims.

                        Years pass, sentiments soften.

Islamic/Muslim Mosque to be built by a group.

Group to build Mosque has a name.

Muslims the world over have looked back upon that great time in Andalusia.

They still look back upon a name of a place that hearkens back to memories of conquest.

They decide to name this group building a Mosque in the shadow of the Twin Towers.

They name it, The Cordoba Initiative.

                        We lost, all over again.

Why Do we have to lean about history??? It happened a long time ago and it does not effect me now in our modern world.

You know how often I hear that????

About as often as you hear some members of the youth touting Obama.

Isn't winning the hearts and minds of the youth a prerequisite to creating a totalitarian dictatorship?
