Why indeed. Could it have something to do with an overly sensitive public who see the scary bogeyman everywhere?

This overly sensitive country full of fat, ignorant people who feel attacked by everything different from what was on their favorite sitcom?

Could it be that some smart cookie at the NEA said "I'm getting calls from stupid, ignorant people who think we're singing Mao's praises over here. Let's just take it down before Sarah Palin tweets about how she's gonna come down here and get Mavericky on us. Yes, I know it was an important day in history, but just take it down before Newt Gingrich shows up."

I suppose I can see how someone who saw a blurb that had the words "Mao, communist, people" and turned it into "NEA posts on their calendar to celebrate Communist China's Revolution" might see any, and I mean any positive reference to a particular author as trying to make him look like a "National hero".;)

Yes in other words they knew that pushing their idea wasn't a good idea. Glad someone was smart enough to see acknowledging Communist China isn't a good idea.

Is Saul just some "paticular" author to you?

They fudge pack Saul but they only want to acknowledge Communist China's revolution. BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.
