I agree with this... but just to be safe I am building a faraday cage for my car and mounting armor plating to the car. It will be like road warrior in the suburbs.

Interestingly, I had a fun discussion last night with my GF about the end of the "civilization". Basically, make food reserves, buy guns (lots of them) and ammo (even more), more canned food, seeds, knives etc. She insisted on getting a Beretta handgun (must be a girl thing) and I wanted an AK47 (more rugged than an M16). And build a house in the rock as it is warmer in winter and chillier in summer.

Damn we had fun pipe dreaming... Sad reality is that the end of the civilization has more to do with "The road" than "Green acres".
