What do you guys think of the new body scanners at airports?

You guys have probably already realized that TSA is just a way to make people think they are safe travelling in airplanes, in order to support the air travel business...

so If you don't get your healthy dose of x rays from your dentist or doctor, please let me zap you every time you get on an airplane.
I'm going to opt out of it every time just to let people have a laugh and i might even ask the TSA officer "want me to bend over and cough?"

Then there is always chemical weapons as well. How far do you want to go with security? At what point will you ever truly feel safe?

I think these machines go too far but if it makes you feel safer then whatever floats your boat.

I am that's why I'm against these machines. But I'm not against them as much as they are an invasion of privacy as I am the idea I just don't see them making us any safer. Criminals stuff things up their ass. You will never be 100% safe.

And yes I am totally against the patriot act.

All the focus on security because of 9/11 even though the weapons used were already planted on the planes by people with clearance.....and those clearances were not revoked/ nor examined after 9/11. I know this for a fact.

They slow the fuck out of the lines. I deal with the TSA twice a week and can really tell the difference.

Being said, I try to be sporting at least a semi tucked against my leg for posterity.

Easier than that. Do you remember the Nigerian in Detroit on Flight 253 from last year? He was checked, his name was on the list of suspected terrorists, had no passport for an international flight, yet made it into the plane...
