where the heck have you been the last two years?
the democrats didn't try to work with republicans
democrat majorities in both houses of congress did EXACTLY what they wanted and crammed legislation down our throats we did not want
democrats ignored the economy
and what, you're upset the republicans didn't rescue the democrats from themselves by voting for the crap?
you know what you do when your political opponent hangs himself?
get out of the way
democrats are getting their just rewards, just like republicans did 2 years ago“There is nothing government can give you that it hasn’t taken from you in the first place”

It's my understanding that Republicans abused the filibuster and other methods to block legislation constantly, amidst misinformation like the so-called "death panels"
That, and the Obama administration has alienated many of the people who voted for it by shying away from progressive reform and moving to the right.
The Healthcare bill as it passed is nearly identical to the Republican proposal during the Clinton administration, isn't it?Comment

John Chafee, R-R.I., introduced what was considered to be one of the main Republican health overhaul proposals: “A bill to provide comprehensive reform of the health care system of the United States.” Titled the “Health Equity and Access Reform Today Act of 1993,” it had 21 co-sponsors, including two Democrats (Sens. Boren and Kerrey). The […]
Check it, and look at the similarities.
e: Might wanna look at the bill Mitt Romney introduced tooComment

I stand corrected. That's not the same one I was referring to. It's not surprising it was never taken seriously.Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.
