Exactly. Also, we should cut out a large portion of wellfare/food stamps. Drug tests should be mandatory for anyone receiving these, and the welfare money should be tracked to make sure they are spending it on things other than crack and 22" spinners. But thats another debate isn't it??

It's too basic. It assumes everyone is paid what they are worth. In fact, compensation is extraordinarily arbitrary.

When an entry-level commercial pilot who has lots of schooling to pay for and 50 lives in his or her hands every time they go to work makes in a year what a major league baseball pitcher makes per pitch, it says something about what we as a society value.

And due to the over flow of unemployed in WA State, I've been taking odd jobs for about a year now. After my business went under (small remodel type), I've been doing literally, grunt work. I was going over this concept while I was I shit you not, under a house, in the less than 2' crawl space with 8-15" of water.

Guess what I came to? I need to get on it and do something else.
