I usually agree with you, but this copy and paste shit gets old even for people who tend to agree with you. You come off more and more like A LEE TROLL with these links that essential make only a certain point moot.

you are about stupid if you think solar energy makes a dent in national energy usage at this moment in time.

I dont need to rewrite an article that states something. Posting such articles backs a standing.... besides what is my personal word worth anyway?

Its being wasted on insulting my intelligence, if there is any country that can make solar work its that country. My point was China isn't held back by anything other than themselves and they can make something you call stupid like solar energy work. You can stick to your ctrl v about China needing coal, it must be nice for them to have control of 8 out 10 most used resources, hopefully they figure out how to trade for the 2 other resources they need .

As for not wanting to re write, how often did that work for you in college; let me guess it didn't work or you didn't go. Having an opinion isn't copying someone elses. Sure your good at citing a source but so are average dumb high school students, does not mean they able to comprehend or justify there stance.

actually I did go to college and I am a commercial pilot, as well as a local business owner. I think I have an idea about life. I also look at that China does not care about pollution control, its people other than slaves to the country, and does not give a flying fuck about you and I as long as we consume their products. They dont care about piracy laws etc...

China is in the mist of its Industrial age. Coal is a cheap source of power to keep the steel plants and other industrial production going. They have been for years buying up land rights for oil and coal. I knew about the deal in Australia because I owned stock in that business when China made that deal.

Solar energy at this point time cost more than it produces. The waste from building solar panels are more harming of the environment than the gains from its power usage. Advances in solar have grown in the recent years but still is behind all other power generation.

The green movement with Solar is almost a scam. Yes it does produce clean energy but when panels fail or deteriorate due to weather, the waste is a greater concern. The movement here in this country has been a big push by our wonderful government as a way to stimulate spending and making people that buy into it feel good because they think they are doing something good for man kind.

But to answer you again, Solar is not going to change China's outcome or advance them into a world power. Cheap energy with no concerns to its people or the environment will.

China didn't start doing solar because they care about the planet that's for sure. They did it because they knew it's another market that they could dive into and steal a large chunk of. And they did just that.
But solar isn't going to come close to fixing China's energy needs.
