I wish it were that simple....

It is far harder to adopt than to give birth. As far as PP goes, there is 1 adoption referral for every 62 abortions. :(

Oddly Joshh, there's a middle ground that you seem unwilling to admit exists. The same bullcrap that any one side spouts is exactly that. ONE sided. Not every poor person is irresponsible and lazy. Not every rich person is obtrusively disdainful and unhearing of the needs of those around them. But, we like to think there is.

Tell me how responsibility isn't middle ground?

What did I say about responsibility exactly? Unless what you're saying is being poor makes you irresponsible?

Sounds to me like you're starting to pull the same shit from the same ass as Kronus.
Responsibility is universal. Do I really have to say that.

Maybe if we grabbed $300mil here, $500mil there............then again, I'd save the budget crisis easily.

And no one ever makes a mistake if the have an R or Tea Party stamp next to there name.

And responsibility is not universal, there are people out there raised by asshats who have not distilled values or credibility in there children. Who are now out fucking and creating more babies. I wonder sometimes with your posts whether your trolling or seriously that dense to see that not everyone is going have the same understanding (for better or worse) of people actions.

Planned Parenthood saved my ass when I was 17, I took my girlfriend at the time to get birth control, that's one less possible kid the state would of have to support when I was young.

When I did have my daughter at 21, I was not married and not happy with direction my life was going. At that time abortion was on the table; it didn't happen but even when my daughter was born she was on state health care for 3 years. That's three years my daughter being a drain on the tax system as soooooo many of you like to point out. I'm a somewhat responsible person but I made a mistake and for it I am a parent; who had the choice. Which is exactly what planned parenthood is there for, a choice.

joshh, is a troll, plain and simple. It pisses everyone off, but they continue to respond to him. The only way to kill a troll is to ignore it.

And as far as your situation, no one is against a social safety net. And helping pick people back up after a rough time.

People are against Welfare "lifers", the lack of drug and alcohol testing for recepients, did you know most EBT systems also allow people to remove cash from the card that doesn't have to be used for groceries?!?!?!?!??!?!?!

The EBT card thing is on a state basis I do know that, Its insane here in Arizona, you can use the EBT card now for Pizza and fast food joints.

Joshh does not offend me, his trolling sometimes makes me wonder if he's just being Lee's exact opposite.

That's why poor people stay poor. They continue to make bad financial decisions.

The amount of money it takes for a family of four to go get pizza could buy quite a bit of groceries.

Yet we continue to foot the bill for these people. Does anyone else not see the problem with this? Handouts do nothing to improve the situation for these people.

Yeah, you shouldn't even be allowed to buy name brand products when there is a generic equivalent.

No tobacco, alcohol or $5 starbucks coffee. Those are luxuries, not necessities.

My Wife is a SOM for Albertson's (she runs the front end) here in Liberty Lake, Washington. It's an upscale area yet the stories I hear from her about people using EBT cards makes me sick. These people will go so far to get alcohol that they will go into the beer cooler, empty out alcohol and wine into water bottles and then pay for the water bottles. It's unreal.
