I'm not saying it can't change in the future but with all the information we have today people betting their own money are saying that Obama will win the 2012 election. Not hard to do when the odds can change with the direction of polls DURING an election. (Just in case you didn't notice.. those numbers are subject to change at any give time BEFORE the election).

Even a Jersey booky can predict the outcome odds of an election based on current news and election poll info days / hours before it occurs. You make it sound like it magically predicts them light-years beforehand.

I could probably do nothing but read the political section of the local paper the day before an election and give the same accurate predictions.

All whom were small govt Conservatives that actively attempted to reduce the over all size of govt and stop the never ending expansion, and return some power to where it belongs with the people.

Coolidge was arguable one of the best presidents in peace time of all and a shame he is forgotten. Cut taxes for everyone. Kept spending Flat and even had over a 1/3 of the debts at the time RETIRED. Was a big proponent of civil rights (the klan lost more influence during his term than any other) and he signed the Indian citizen act , was cautious to get us into alliances and embroiled in world politics and affairs. This is what I can think of off the top of my head, Really we need another Coolidge in office right now.
