Westboro Baptist Church and the Phelps family strike again!!

For those of you that don't know, this church is notorious for protesting military funerals. Anyways these guys just don't quit! Well the patriots of Rankin Mississippi weren't having it!

They did show up, a few showed up a couple of days early.

A couple of days before, one of them ran his mouth at a Brandon gas station and got his ass waxed. Police were called and the beaten man could not give much of a description of who beat him. When they canvassed the station and spoke to the large crowd that had gathered around, no one seemed to remember anything about what had happened.

Rankin County handled this thing perfectly. There were many things that were put into place that most will never know about and at great expense to the county. Most of the morons never made it out of their hotel parking lot. It seems that certain Rankin county pickup trucks were parked directly behind any car that had Kansas plates in the hotel parking lot and the drivers mysteriously disappeared until after the funeral was over.

Police were called but their wrecker service was running behind and it was going to be a few hours before they could tow the trucks so the Kansas plated cars could get out. A few made it to the funeral but were ushered away to be questioned about a crime they might have possibly been involved in. Turns out, after a few hours of questioning, that they were not involved and they were allowed to go on about their business.

Ranking deserves a hand in how they handled this situation.

it would be so fun to beat the shit out of one of those people, severly, in front of their other followers. There has to be a vid of that somewhere.

        +1.

        Finally.

The sad part is they'll just get even more brazen about how, when and where they protest because of it. The crux of stupidity. It simply goes deeper.

I am surprised somebody hasn't sacrificed their body and suicide bombed a church meeting.

If this is true then it's one of the greatest things I've ever heard. I can't believe they actually claim a religious affiliation. I remember hearing that they were planning on protesting the funeral of the 11 year old girl that was shot when that guy shot Rep Giffords. I mean, where does someone get off on protesting the funeral of an juvenile innocent bystander?

I've read that they are all in the legal field, and use the laws of the US to profit. Taking advantage of 501(c), and using the anger and violence they provoke to file suits against those that physically harm them while in protest is how they provide for themselves and their family members.

It's all a game, they are just playing their own unique angle.

In March of this year, a Ponderosa High School student published an article in the Denver Post about the Westboro Baptist Church, a group infamous for protesting soldiers' funerals and bashing homosexuals. Though the article was eloquent and generally peaceful, the WBC took massive offense -- and they're planning on protesting the Ponderosa High School graduation. According to their website, "WBC will picket the Ponderosa High School Graduation to tell the graduates the truth for once in their miserable, worthless lives."

I can't find the exact article...and I don't know the source of that quote, but it's happening.

No. They will use any retribution brought against them as a sign of all the world's sins and as a clear sign that they must continue their cause now more than ever. If any of them truly believe in what they say, they have no concept of God, Christianity, or any religion. The basis of any real religion is to be a good person and love your God(s). These people are simply creatures of hate, and if that wasn't bad enough they think they are right. I can understand simple evil, where someone or something knows what it is doing and doesn't care, but when such evil acts are committed in the name of God or good, it enrages me.

Public shunning is the best way to get these assholes to either stop or just go away. At some point they have to run out of money.
