No. They will use any retribution brought against them as a sign of all the world's sins and as a clear sign that they must continue their cause now more than ever. If any of them truly believe in what they say, they have no concept of God, Christianity, or any religion. The basis of any real religion is to be a good person and love your God(s). These people are simply creatures of hate, and if that wasn't bad enough they think they are right. I can understand simple evil, where someone or something knows what it is doing and doesn't care, but when such evil acts are committed in the name of God or good, it enrages me.

Public shunning is the best way to get these assholes to either stop or just go away. At some point they have to run out of money.

If someone played it right they could probably sue them into bankruptcy and/or jail sentences. The trick is beating them at their own game.
