My problem with gays, will and always be this: Do you really need to be an attention whore; I don't care what makes you cum, do it in your bedroom. The whole world does not need to see or hear that you love man on man action and that Christian's and the world have double standards. The world isn't fair, get over it.

The world doesn't need to hear about people's love for their imaginary friends*, but Christians don't seem to have a problem with trying to rape that into the collective consciousness.

I don't think it's too confusing. The legal and social repression of homosexuals is backed by powerful organizations and lobbies that they view as bullshit, and so it upsets them.

The flamboyant shit is a bit much, in my book - but I won't pretend to understand what it's like to internalize your sexuality for 10, 20, 30 years. And I guess they want to slap society in the face with what they're looked down upon for. I also think it gets more attention because heterosexual PDA is more often looked past while homosexuals doing something as simple as holding hands sticks out like a sore thumb. I dunno. I think heterosexual pda is just as obnoxious. But you don't often see heteros swapping spit, unless they're drunk, or the couple consists of a skinny guy, and a really fat gal sitting on a bench downtown. Whereas I've seen first hand two guys sucking face downtown on the sidewalk (probably caused by some eXperimenting) and a lesbian couple making out at the front of a childrens softball game.... ugh (and this is in midwest the "bible belt" missouri). And yeah, scientologists and mormons both make me wary, but since Tom Cruise is proven to be absolutely batshit crazy, the "scientology in the news" craze has fallen by the wayside (as far as I can tell) and Mormons apparently are loudmouthed and well financed, so they'll continue battling that gay marriage law, and will continue making the news. But if either one of these "religions" had a hunky jesus contest, I'd be just as disgusted... actually, probably even more so.
