"For what we call liberalism-the refurbished edifice of American Progressivism-is in fact a decedent and manifestation of fascism. This doesn't mean it's the same thing as Nazism. Nor is it the twin of Italian Fascism. But Progressivism was a sister movement of fascism, and todays liberalism is the daughter of Progressivism. One could strain the comparison and say that today's liberalism is the well-intentioned niece of European fascism. She is hardly identical to her ugly relations, but she nonetheless carries an embarrassing family resemblance that few will admit to recognizing. FAIL
Modern Liberals/progressives are all about control of everything and have been doing a very good job of gathering up that control for the last 100 or so years
I suggest you read the book that was citedOriginally posted by FusionIf a car is the epitome of freedom, than an electric car is house arrest with your wife titty fucking your next door neighbor.

You mean control, like police stopping individuals based on color of skin? Or control, like deciding whether two individuals can marry? Liberalism is not necessarily the progressive/liberal image that is in the mind of the right these days. I'm not affiliated to any political party, but to say that liberalism is a manifestation of fascism, bitch please. I don't know why I would spend any money on a book that contains that drivel. Liberalism is based on equality and liberty. Fascism is clearly not.

The origins or liberalism, maybe. What it has turned into=total control of people's lives (for their own good). There are countless examples of it. Gun control, food manufacturing, company regulations, The Patriot Act (Obama signed it back in without any issue whatsoever), the EPA, Global Warming and the regulations coming from the rhetoric of it, Obama Care, etc.Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.
