When you have that many people elected with a certain mind set to state and federal level, one more than likely can safely assume that the local Govt is also of the same persuasion thanks to the SAME FUCKING PEOPLE VOTING THEM IN. When you have a liberal sheriff (elected), mayor, city counsel, ect... the Police Chief is appointed by said mayor they will appoint someone with similar views. Officers have follow the orders that come down from the top on what to enforce, and how to do it. The lack of discretion and good judgement any more is staggering. This TX incident was more about revenue generation than public safety (gma got a FINE)

wow.. facts, figures, charts.. I'm impressed but I think you overestimated my seriousness of the statement. It was intended to be a dig at the extreme disrespect most often originating from TX, and most often directed towards CA. And while I can't argue that CA doesn't have alarming issues, I found the location of this story to be ironic.

This logic doesn't work for selling cars in WA state. I'm not saying you shouldn't be right, I'm just saying that the laws don't really follow this logic in WA.

Mayor, Richard Cortez Officially does not disclose his official position, but did seem keen on making McAllen a sanctuary city.

State Sen Dis. 20 Juan Hinojosa DEM

State sen Dis 27 Eddie Lucio, Jr. DEM

3 of the 4 state house reps are out right DEMS, and the the 4th seems to espouse the same liberal mindset as the rest with out officially being a dem.

Both US house reps for McAllen TX are DEMS

Both US senators for TX are REPUBS though. But there are far more people from other parts of the state that influence this vote

Here is a election result from 2008, you will see that Hidalgo County TX is solidly in the BLUE its like the SoCal of South TX.

all the shit you sell at a garage sale you are selling for less than you paid for it. 99% of the time, there for you are not making a profit on the good you are selling, there fore you dont have to pay any taxes.

I'm I just completely oblivous or what? This shit never happened when I was a kid. Then again I didn't watch the news or pay attention to this stuff because I was, afterall, a kid. My lemonade stands never got shut down. I also never paid taxes on my garage sales (probably $15 when I was 8 yrs old).

Someone tell me now because this world we live in is just getting too ridiculous. You can't do anything now without breaking some sort of law.
