I don't think they would make their own but some people could and more than likely would sell it for a huge profit "under the table". Specially if they increase the prices that much.

Would be an easy way to get a bunch of bangers off the street, with exploding guns and all. Too bad all they would do is flood the hospital and we would have to pay for that too.

Yeah I was just thinking, maybe they should tax it in certain areas and have the gov pay people to load/sell overly hot rounds to people under the table LOLOLOL.

Actually, the sorts of people who commit this kind of random gun violence are pretty immobile. Your average 14 year old with a gun (like my neighbors) is not likely to travel out of DC. Ever. I remember one employee we had in a building who had literally never been to Rockville in his entire life. 10 miles outside of DC. Never been there.

So yeah, this would actually cut down on the available supply of bullets to your average useless underage thug. And all the illegal gun dealers would up their prices as well, further impacting these people.

Is it really all that advisable or effective? I don't know. But I can see how it would be effective.

Because one of their buddies couldn't leave the city buy up boxes and boxes of ammo and come back and sell it to their buddies...not going to work at all. And they already have bullets.

I am so glad I moved out of Baltimore (and halfway across the country). Stinking filthy cesspool of human trash.

And yes, there are people who will NEVER leave B-town in their entire lives, (I know from personal experience, long story, but funny) and those types of people usually are the same people who somehow attain arsenals of illegally obtained guns and (GASP!) illegally obtained ammo.

So the right motive in mind? sure, let's make it harder for those people to shoot other people. The right way to do it? heck no! It just isn't going to work, plain and simple. Any rational person can see that.

Heck, I can fly back there, crash at my parent's house (an hour outside B-town) order bulk ammo online, and hit the streets of Baltimore, and rake in the cash! (or get shot).

Only none of that makes any sense. Do you really think that when an "underage thug" needs ammo he walks into a mom and pop gunshop, submits to an NCIS background check, and pays by credit card?

Like most legislation that aims to save babies through "gun control," all it does is make life more difficult for law-abiding citizens. And law-abiding citizens are not the problem.

Your in jesery so I can understand your confusion. In the free world (out side of your little NE chunk of the country IL and CA) we can buy all the ammo we want with out a back ground check. Its the guns that require the check ;)

But us yes law abiding owners are not the issue at hand, and attempts at heavy restriction have worked oh so well haven't they???

I shoot .308 and .45acp, mostly I know, (really though .222 is about 18 bucks a box for good top shelf shit, thats not too bad). Not to mention my hunting rifles and my project, .222 and .308 are cheap in comparison

.222 is like $30 a box here. It's nuts. I had to shoot a few boxes to get shells to reload. Even at Wal-Mart it's still like $28 a box.

Gunshows aren't much better, but usually I load up on 7.62x54r and x39 for the SKS and Mosin. This is why I have no money to buy other guns....
