Alleged plot to kill Saudi Ambassador

This is fucking embarrassing, but I'm personally still questioning the nature of the plot: whether this could have been a frame job.
I really see a lot of reasons to frame the Iranians, but then again anyone could be wrong.
    So what do you think?
(And lets please try to refrain from flat-out discrimination toward a group of people).

Spend five minutes listening to politicians and pundits talk about countries like Iran and North Korea, and you walk away thinking the world is a scary place. But politicians have agendas, and pundits want viewers. They aren't always the most reliable sources, but they're usually the loudest.

Good man. I spent a good two hours in a healthy political argument/discussion with my roommate, who happens to be very pro-israel/against iran. Tried my best to convey my own political ideas, etc..and inform him of the current circumstances in Iran, along with the Iranian youth/masses' beliefs..

I wouldn't miss Iran from the world. And you wouldn't be able to tell the difference in terms of effects either. Unless they were making this world more peaceful.

I'm not saying they AREN'T a threat, I'm saying the threat they pose is VASTLY overblown.

My assumption, is that this is the beginning of plans to begin Millitary involvement with/in Iran.
whats better for business than a new War? with this sluggish economy we can use a boost.

and honestly, Iran has been begging for a solid wholluping for a long time.

not being too much of a smart ass either, I can see it.

I just find it sad that so many Americans find Iran as a threat...They know not to fuck with Israel, Israel has enough nukes to destroy the country of Iran, over, and over again. Not trying to preach to the choir, just trying to inform. I will admit though, I have the POV of a first-generation American born to Iranian parents, who both don't care for the current gov't. So while I agree on the fact that Iran needs some hardcore government reform (ie an actual democracy), U.S Intervention would be the worst idea possible. It will burn far too many bridges, and worst of all, kill too many innocent people who want NOTHING but peace with the Western World.

                            ^ouch,^

I really have nothing to say positively about Iran, in fairness, I also have no firsthand experience with Iran either.

at the same time, with all the drum beating they have been doing for 30 years, i just do not feel that they are "miss-understood" I am pretty sure the feelings they have for the West are worn on the sleeve.

Also we "Assume " that Israel has a bunch of nukes, and would blow Iran (back?) to the stone age, but Isn't that missing the point? They are surrounded by nations, led by Iran that have vowed to "wipe them of the map"

I don't even as a Canadian "Fear" what Iran can do to me directly, even less what they Can do to the US. my fear would be what the irresponsible actions of the leaders of Iran can do regionally to set forth a cascading effect that could lead to a much broader conflict, especially if their Nuclear program is further along than we think. once the crowd pleasers are out, it goes to hell quickly from there.

Dude, my uncle's Jewish, half of my parents' friends are Persian Jews, and you probably don't know that Iran has the 2nd largest Jewish population in the Middle East, after Israel. ;) Just because someone disagrees with the actions of the Israeli government, it doesn't mean their anti-Semitic. Could say the same for a lot of the actions of the Iranian government, doesn't mean I'm anti-Iranian...
