I believe it is the east side since the pictures I have from Cherryfest a couple of years ago have the sunset on the other side of the Lake. Gorgeous area! Flathead is such a great place.

and - our immigration laws suck. I've been through the process. It really is easier to get here illegally, than it is to be legal. you get harassed way more, it takes forever, and it costs a fortune. We need to change that.

How much do you think minimum wage should be?
Or what would you suggest to change?

say whatever you want about mexican illegals and the trouble some cause, but the vast majority are the hardest working people you'll ever meet.
Not that theyre harder working than the average driven american.. Its that they always had to work for every penny. They dont have that sense of entitlement like the americans do.
Americans seem to think everything is owed to them. As a result more lazy. Thats why I dont hire them. (im american born and raised)

Because 100/day hard labor is the bottom of the barrel so-to-speak, the only americans that usually consider these jobs are screw-ups, ex junkies, ex-cons etc. They've always done just enough to get by in life, and of course that will reflect on their work ethic. This is why the spanish are considered harder workers than us. But in reality its not true.

Sorry for contributing to the immagration problem, but its our own fault.

Sometimes Ill get a young american kid who works hard, not a big mouth, and very smart. Of course at some point he'll move on to go to school, and be smart about life. Seeing that is a breath of fresh air to me.

But the idea about the inmates- best one yet. All the jobs that don't consider craft/talent- let them freakin do it.

I agree with you there as well.
One the other side of that, businesses that hire (specially smaller businesses) get the shaft as soon as they hire the first employee. Mostly on insurance.

Not that they would be motivated to apply skill to your work, but if you watch a prison documentary you'd be amazed at the stuff those guys create. They have nothing but time.
