This definitely made me put on the tinfoil hat. Its from that info wars link:

... It’s true that few get the basic fact–the Patriot Act took away our Bill of Rights. It’s one fact written up in 1000 pages that no one wants to read. It was put into law by Bush with the support of the “stupid” fearful public and let pass back into law by Obummer–same team different shirts. The recent laws being laid brick by brick like a wall separate US citizens from any rights at all. These are clearly in support of an eventual totalitarian state. No doubt. However…
…there is clearly outlined in these documents an expectation of a large death toll from something. Somehow, I don’t expect that to be beatings in the streets due to outrages citizens over insolvency, or detaining citizens who demonstrate. It sounds much more ominous like they either know what is coming or that they intend to create it as they did with AIDS in Africa. FEMA camps are nationwide. As you say, it would have to be much, much bigger than 9/11–only 3000 people there–a practice run for them. That leads me to say it’s the release of a deadly bug. Maybe that’s the reason we are hearing about so much about digging DUMBs by the military. Kill off the populace, make money from the kill (of course) and live underground until it all passes over. That would also keep the military in their places, while rioting in the streets over citizen’s rights could have an unexpected outcome. If you wanted to kill the populace off you’d simply put the bug on the handles of luggage in a large airport going to all points in the USA. Baggage areas are not secure. Then, the disease is not airborne and unless you shake hands, pick up an infected bag or touch that individual you’re safe. Days before the event, they cloister the unsuspecting military personnel and any support people they may need while waiting it out. Those people are not venturing away if there’s an outbreak for fear of being infected. Simple to do that–alert status–very easy. The mainstream media has been public for months with threats of a coming terrorists attack on US soil. So, the bags go to all points USA taken by unsuspecting travelers. By the time one infected person gets to his destination, he’s infected everyone along the way, every stop he made, every hand he shook, every plane he was on. Remember that the Bird Flu of the early 1900′s knocked out 10s of millions of people. And we know that the CDC has more deadly viruses and bacterias that that in their stock. It would knock out half the populace in a matter of weeks and travel overseas as well.
Of course, the workers to play the part of caring for such a pandemic would need facilities from which to operate and create world sympathy. Those facilities would require they be sequestered from population centers for “safety”. Usually, corpses are burned in pandemics, but the US has to make a show hence the 1/2 million coffins in GA ready to receive 5 bodies at a time broadcast nation wide by the media mouthpiece. The release would, of course, be blamed on a “terrorist group” who’d be rounded up and executed. The “stupid” public would be all too satisfied to catch the bad guys and, moreover, grateful they were not dead. All done, you now have a grateful, controllable populace left behind with the resources of the dead, a completely different government in place due to laws that are now facts of life and necessary in the eyese of the public, etc. etc. and I could go on filling in the details, but why bother? Dwindling natural resources become a non-issue with a much reduce population.
The Black Death rages across Europe and leaves only 1/5 of the population alive–remember the wealth and commerce created after the pruning of the populace? If you don’t, read up on it. That’s what happened. Europe burst into bloom once it had past–which took a while, btw. The rise of the middle class? Anyone? Anyone? Buehler?

Copied this from a member on Glocktalk.com, regarding the question 'Is the USA becoming a totalitarian state?' :

Why tell a man what kind of car he has to drive when you can give him "choice", have him take out a loan in manipulated FNRs, and keep him plugged into the system as a fractional wage slave? He will then work harder and harder to keep his car (house, furniture, food, etc), striving higher and higher. As his wages increase, the state can then take an increasingly larger chunk. This system works well. Simply keep everyone in line. Crack down ruthlessly on unauthorized commerce, first through tax and regulatory enforcement measures. If that doesn't work simply send in armed agent. Working to stay just ahead of price inflation or wage deflation, the majority will be too busy to question, let alone to protest or riot.

Why tell a man what blue collar job he will have when you can instead send him to "college" and bring him out in debt? Why send legions of men to work under direct threat of arms when they will willingly line up in row after row of cars for their morning commute. The force must merely be implicit, and used rarely, when the tax chattel are willing participants in their own enslavement. A more brilliant system has yet to be designed. His mind is then numbed by a combination of chemicals and banal programming he can sit and watch every night. More money can then be made selling pills to counter the effects of a diet short on food but high in derivatives and wood pulp. *

The primary enemy to the state is self-sufficiency. It must be made impossible to economically disassociate oneself from this system. As such, and occasionally, those who attempt to do so must be made into an example. Typically this can be done via tax code. Occasionally regulatory code must be relied upon. Once in a blue moon, a more direct display of force must be used as a reminder to others who may share thoughts of economic disassociation. But it's messy. And risky. Don't want to rock the boat when it's sailing in placid waters. The force is always present, however, lurking in the background. And it is directed by men who might have had glowing careers with the Stasi, or any number of other organizations. These men are the same. They have always been with us. Our state utilizes them with more artistry and subtlety, however, than those 20th century direct slave states. Indirect slave state's have proven more profitable.

Fascism, a specific political/economic term understood by few, may have been born in Europe. But it has been perfected in the New World.

"At the height of the war, 170,000 American soldiers occupied more than 500 bases across the country. Now only two bases and 5,500 troops remain in the country. All will be home before the end of the year when a security pact expires."
