well, I don't know about the Myans but the weather is getting more unruly each year, and so are people around the world. To think that global economies are too weak to absorb a big natural disaster is plausible. Coupled with elections coming up.. in the most powerful nation where the government is maybe the most corrupt it's ever been, all bad candidates, media berating us with negative fear tactics for the last decade, economy more fragile than ever. ugh. It certainly doesn't look good.

Is this your first tin foil hat post?

Although I agree with all that you said.
Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

Not sure, I tend to believe stuff. But this is purely just writing on the wall.
You're stance on global warming is irrelevant with the obvious acceleration of hurricanes, earthquakes, tsunami's. Call it whatever you want, blame whoever or whatever you want. It's just plain happening. Will it keep getting worse or get better? No idea.

How many people died in worldwide protests last year?? We are lucky that we can protest without a full-on military grade crushing. But it will get worse. Not once in my lifetime has our government had the attitude that THEY work for US. Will they keep pushing their luck or will someone actually go in there and crack some skulls? No idea. Easier to read this than the weather, outlook not good. The last guy to promise any changes got even more derailed than the last few.

With all the collosal bullshittery going on, it's hard to find some interesting facts. Nonetheless, I recently found a French documentary, one of the best docs I've seen to date.

              - no tinfoilhattery, aliens, apocalypse
              - seems independant, not even backed by a TV channel

Don't worry about the French accent in the trailer, the full length has great narration.

              or find the mkv somewhere

Grab some popcorn and lmk what you think after watching it. I had my eyes wide open the whole time and I think this deserves a discussion. The more you're interested in physics/engineering/math, the more you'll like it imo. No 'spiritual' douchbags at all.

Very interesting! I like that it is all measurements and science with out aliens and conspiracies. Maybe there is something to it.

thank you for that video it was very interesting i like how it gives you the information and lets you make of it what you want and how it isnt really trying to persuade you into believing something like so many things today do.

What the Mayan calender actually says is that this year is a year of transition during which we will experience war, xtream global weather conditions, and a few other fun things. BUT NO END OF THE WORLD.
i thought it was interesting to read... I dont take any of this end of the world nonsense seriously any ways.
So where's the transition? It's like that today...it's been like that for a very, very long time.

Fusion that was an interesting video, but the end conclusion just seems a little out there. Built by pre-egyptians is plausible in my mind, but warning future societies 12-20,000 years in the future is just..too far.

Interesting watch non the less. The accuracy of the stonework really is amazing....Someone needs to build a time machine and go back in time to see when/why and how all of these crazy sites were constructed.

Yea, the end leads you to think of the general "warning" scenario.
If it were up to me, I'd look into whole "world clock" aspect. You can even think of the 26 thousand year cycle as another measurement of time, since there are many (religion based) calendars today that don't correlate. So we could think of today as Jan 5th 25999 and next year would revert back to Jan 1st of the year "zero" of the next zodiac sign, just like a 24h clock snaps to 0:00:01 at midnight.
The water and fire could be champagne and fireworks since this would be celebrated in a much heavier manner than New Years :)

And I think someone should go back and study the hieroglyphs from a "user's manual" perspective. Seems to me like something is missing to make the pyramid "work".
This reminds me of the game Myst so much.
