Many Theists allow their religion to dictate who they share their lives with, sway political votes, hinder their acquisition of knowledge. Are these not negative impacts? Having a belief which cannot be confirmed nor denied weigh so heavily on your decisions. Anything that limits my abilities to pursure whatever form of happiness my heart desires is negative IMO.

You make a good point. It is wonderful that we are allowed to have different beliefs though, I am not forced to accept yours, you are not forced to accept mine; something that we should be truly grateful for!

Agnostic here. If there is a "god" that judges people I believe it would judge on how you leed your life, not the religeous beliefs you subscribe to. If you need religion to tell you how to be a good person, fine but don't push your beliefs on others. If your beliefs harm others, well fuck you I hope you die horribly.
