Sadly you are right but it is complete bullshit. I'm constantly hearing from fellow Republicans that he is just a "crazy old man" but can never get a real reason as to why they think that.

While I can't understand why the people of the party can't get behind him, I see exactly why the GOP will make sure he isn't elected. He undermines everything the GOP actually stands for...not what they profess to stand for.

Although Ron Paul is always right he says way too out there shit for the brainwashed Americans to comprehend so they all write him off as crazy. I remember last election he was being mocked by everyone for talking about the trans continental corridor. And then boom two weeks later on the news they release plans for said corridor.
