gwb, You stand to take greater advantage of American "socialism" long before many of us will get to. Prescription meds are going to come in real handy even for seniors who have led the healthiest of lifestyles. Social security payments, check. But on the other hand, I suppose if you'd just been taxed less all those working years, then you'd have invested the money yourself, and be set up far better for retirement than Uncle Sam could ever have provided for. That could be true, I can't deny that. But it could equally be false if you'd made a bad bet. I think it was just a couple years ago I heard everyone flipping out because their 401k gambles had gone up in smoke. But not you - you'd have ridden the trends perfectly.
