Question for everyone to answer HONESTLY

I would accept them for who they are and respect their faith but once they start imposing their faith on me..that's when I would start to take problem with them.

I can see born again, the ones I don't enjoy are the ones that say the found Jesus.
Come on, really? He found you. He wasn't sitting on a park bench, lost, with his hat in hand, waiting to be found.Comment

Lambo.. Cool.
Farbin... I get your point I struggle with them also.
I am a born again Christian. I am more quiet about my faith. I don't like to express my faith because I don't want people to feel uncomfortable around me. Majority of the time, people see it and they know that I am. One of my biggest struggles is finding other Born again Christians who are also car guys or gals.Comment

I was raised Catholic, I decided the hypocrisy was not for me, walked out from that whole bag of man-made lies used for control. I spent a few years just knowing within myself there was a higher power, and after about a decade of that, I found a organized Christian church that was based on Faith, and not living by some imposable rulebook, and haven't been as happy, nor as grounded as I am now.Last edited by Farbin Kaiber; 04-07-2012, 07:27 PM.Comment

Born again? Their choice.
Can't really ask my opinion on religion. I was born Southern Baptist, converted to Buddhism, and the wife is HinduOriginally posted by RUFFLZ#BANDISNIGGAOriginally posted by Wh33lhopWhy the fuck would you ever put a drink up there? If you ever have a drink to hold, just put it between your legs. You know, where your balls used to be before you had a girlfriend.Comment

Dude, the car scene is pretty diverse. Sure, on the internet we're all pretty harsh and racist/sexist/you name it, but in real life most of us are just regular guys who don't care who you are or what you believe. This is just an honest question, but why not keep the two separate? You can have your car group and then you can have your religious group, there's no reason (in my mind) you would need them to be intertwined.I am a born again Christian. Edit: By "in real life most of us are just regular guys who don't care who you are or what you believe" I meant, we won't judge you based on those things.

Eh, I've learned to speak my mind, but it really doesn't matter, its all about you, it's your relationship, and if somebody doesn't like it, or show any interest, it makes no difference.
Matthew 6:5-6
King James Version (KJV)
5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
Think of it like cars, everyone is surrounded by them in their daily life, but not everyone can sit and talk about them all day. Just because they can't talk about cars all day, or even at all, that doesn't mean anything about how much you like cars, your thing may just not be their thing.Comment
