Is anything in that article supposed to be surprising? What can't you believe?

Well, this is northern NH, the High School teaches kids how to run chainsaws and drive skidders. The biggest thing in Dalton is Cowboy Action Shooting on Saturdays. So gay, prison-marriage, love triangle murders are still out of the norm.

Which part do you have a problem with?

I'm pretty incensed by the whole story, but if I had to pick a most-odious aspect, I'd say the pictures of these freaks. coulda done without those.

No one made you read the article. Otherwise, what are you mad about?

Are you upset that they are former prisoners? If so, get over it. They paid their dues. If you don't believe that to be true then you have a problem with our legal system and not the individuals.

Is it that they are gay? If so, why does it bother you? I'd guess that you have a moral aversion to homosexuality - but morality seems unlikely since you've quickly shown the desire to judge and mock the deceased without any apparent remorse.

Considering the context of this thread it doesn't seem likely that you care that they're dead - but are you unhappy that they all murdered eachother?

It seems to me that you're just being unnecessarily xenophobic and judgemental. People are people. Get over it.

Slow night in Houston? How 'bout those tornadoes?

I think this story is a sad commentary on the state of our State and nation, abhorrent behaviours beget abhorrent behaviours, and it lessens the value and quality of life for everyone.

              Sorry I ruined your night.

It is a slow night. I'm at work and it's both cloudy and windy so our helicopters aren't flying.

Sad commentary? To me there's just as much ITT than in the article. 3 people lost their lives and you're hung up on their sexual orientation and criminal history. I guess to you the value of life depends on how much that life is like your own.

I've had 3 people die tonight in the ER. Want to know their stories so you can judge the quality and value of their lives, too?

I really don't have any feelings about their sexual orientation, but as a father I'm uncomfortable that all three were convicted child rapists,

and at least one of them had access to a gun. That they were living in my neighborhood, equidistant from the elementary school and the high school adds to my unease.

Only two of them are dead by the way, but we've got our fingers crossed.
I hope the ED slows down for you.

That's pretty sick, man. Hoping someone dies isn't OK regardless of the circumstance.

The ED hasn't slowed down. I just had another one pass away. Cross your fingers for their family this time.

FWIW you can't ruin my night. People who think that the cornerstone of being a good father is hoping that people die are of little importance to me.

He never said he had a problem with anything. Only that it was crazy that something like this could have happened in a rural area where he lives.

It's like you were fishing for a statement on homophobia. Must have been a really slow night where you work.

no, he said pretty clearly that he was uncomfortable with them.

it's actually the paradigm for the correct outcome of that type of relationship
