Reagan was actually a very good president he passed a bill that made any immigrant who'd entered the country before 1982 eligible for amnesty and legalization, the majority of them field workers. My father was one of these people, he busted his ass working in those fields way under minimum wage practically free, his bosses didn't give a rats ass when he broke his ankle and had shards of bone sticking out and blood running down his foot, they still pushed him to keep working and so he did until he nearly passed out. Well the point is he didn't just legalize any immigrant but the people who had hard workers and earned it. And there are qualifications that you need to meet.

I am pretty sure this policy went back way before obama... it's more the lack of integrety of the people doing the taxes. I am sure if we audited all USA residents I bet 40% or more commit tax fraud.

Alot of people do it, they just don't admit it. But when the issue starts becoming a bigger problem they usually need someone to point fingers at. No one likes taking the blame.
