That's utterly ridiculous. Human flight without any sort of external assistance is impossible on Earth. I am still perfectly capable of comprehending both the action and implications of that sort of flight.

Flight is a pretty narrow concept. We know what physical forces make it possible, we know how to predict movement using math and most of all, we can get inside of an airplane and fly around the world. We have a very good perspective on it and it's safe to say we understand it pretty well. I would never say we understand it perfectly though, because while we know which physical laws act upon it, we don't know why these physical laws exist in the first place. There is a limit to our understanding. I think it's arrogant to think that our feeble minds could ever understand every inch of the universe. We would have to be gods ourselves.

As long as you Godfags don't try to make the rest of us live by the same self-imposed rules of your insanity, I couldn't care less.

            Perfect example of the insanity:

Thousands of children in the southern state will receive publicly-funded vouchers for the next school year to attend private schools where…

And one of my favorite quotes:

Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able?
            Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing?
            Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing?
            Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing?
            Then why call him God?

even if i could explain to you even the slightest of what or who God is. we could not understand it. God is not bound by anything. He is the one that created those bounds in the first place. and the very effort of explaining God is pointless because we could never get anywhere.

              Thanks for the entertainment..

If there is a God, it will be the scientists that prove it. Until then, why give a shit?

Makes total sense! The most complex entity imaginable can exist of it's own creation but you say it's impossible for elementary particles in their simplest form to exist without a creating force, which there most likely is but you refute it based on the fact that we cannot yet tell you what it is.

I'm not sure how I haven't made the switch to religion yet, it makes so much sense.

In all honesty, his first post about creation is the one you should be criticizing, not this one. He is making a similar point to what I am saying in that god cannot be understood or defined.

I can add mysticism to anything by labelling it indiscernible, doesn't make it any more valid or reasonable of a proposition. If that were the case any conceivable proposition is a potential truth. There's a reason things need to be evaluated under certain boundries to be thought or found true, as soon as you subject god to all the same criteria and criticism everything else must meet in life or an argument it fails as a theory. That's why the following argument makes you look like an idiot.

If you cant see that from looking around, then there is something you are seriously missing you guys.
Why is a god any more free to not be held to rules as anything else you find to be true? Oh that's right, because that's one of the ground rules of your dogma. Sheeple ftl.
