Is it audacious to take your business elsewhere because you don't want to support that?
Tell me if it is or is not acceptable for a consumer to judge what a business supports with its profits when considering purchasing from them?? (make up your mind)Last edited by rwh11385; 08-01-2012, 03:37 PM.Comment

I must be mistaken, because I swear you just compared Chick fil-a's stance on gay culture to conflict diamonds...No E30 ClubOriginally posted by MrBurgundyAnyways, mustangs are gay and mini vans are faster than your car, you just have to deal with that.Comment

I don't think anyone is arguing that, as many have said before... If you don't like it, don't buy it. That being said, again, it's not really any of our business what someone does with their own money. However, if you don't like it, don't give it to them. Problem solved. No E30 ClubOriginally posted by MrBurgundyAnyways, mustangs are gay and mini vans are faster than your car, you just have to deal with that.Comment

They don't as a company support certain causes. he as a person supports causes. just because i'm conservative/religious doesn't mean the paycheck from my company means they support my views.Comment

You used a horrible comparison. It made you come off as the sort that uses shock to get a point across.

The corporation directly supports WinShape, in addition to them personally supporting it. Maybe you should try finding facts next time.Comment

That's ridiculous. Paying someone for their hours does not mean you support their views. Now if the company matched their contributions to charity (which some companies do), then you can make that claim.
How do you not call it backstepping when their PR person responding quickly to say they will "no longer" be involved in same-sex marriage political topic after their CEO says that the company stands for biblical definition of marriage, popular or not.Comment

Here's irony for you:
In response to Google's recently announced "Legalize Love" campaign, the conservative non-profit group American Family Association has decided to boycott Google. Take a look at other brands and products that have been boycotted for supporting LGBT rights.Comment

Nothing wrong with that, marriage is between and a man and a woman. if companies support your view that is isn't just between a man and a woman, than how is not their right to do so. there are people on both side and therefore you will have money flow on both side. and you cant say it's right for one side to be funded and not the other, just because you are on one side of the view.Comment

I dont think people really know what the president of Chick-fil-a really said, “While my family and I believe in the Biblical definition of marriage (between a male and female), we love and respect everyone, who disagrees.” How exaclty is this hate filled speech?
On another note, I wanted to grab some today, but the local chick-fil-a had about 100+ cars in the drive through, and a massive line out the building wrapping all the way around the back!Comment
