        I pay my fair share.

But the fact is spending will have to go DOWN and taxes will have to go UP to start paying off the 16 Trillion in debt.

So, tax the struggling consumer class harder in a predominately service based economy.

              Yea, that makes sense.

I suspect the R's had a ZERO percent chance of taking the house in 2010 as well?

Even prominent black religious leaders are calling Obama out because of the gay marriage stance.........this November may shock you.

It doesn't really matter either way though. They are all bought by Wall Street and the large banks.

i thought bill clinton was your savior on what to do, balance the books etc.?

                        no?

That's why I said CUT spending along with a tax increase......it's going to be the only way to start paying off the debt.

bill clinton CUT tax rates and congress limited the increase in government spending
                            viola - surplus

and besides, none of this is rocket science. if you limited the federal government to a 2% INCREASE in spending annually the budget would balance in something like 7 years

I think you're confusing the Mack-Penny plan, where by cutting the budget 1% each year for the next 6 years would balance the budget.
