That is also very true... people need to stop getting their butt hurt and just learn to move on and allow others to live their life as they see fit.

I dont feel anyone or any religion in that matter should have an upper hand or dictate to others what is right or wrong. That goes for all sides!

MHate to break it to you, the country continued to be run by the old guard/KGB even after the USSR "officially" came apart.

Basically, nothing really changed. They acted democratic but the elections were tainted to say the least and the two parties are really just the same party. Putin is basically "president for life" at this point. Any detractors get poisoned and he just gets shuffled to and fro in top levels of the govt in order to give some sort of appearance of a check/balance.

Pretty much the only difference is a few of the old soviet states were able to break off and get their own govts. Most didnt though as the inflation when moving from Russia's terrible currency was too painful to bear.

Anyway, back on topic: once a church aligns itself with politics I would say it's fair game to protest that. The protest was peaceful and I don't see where it incited hatred vs. the orthodox.

The Westboro baptist church doesn't get hard labour for the heinous shit they pull which I think is one of the best things about the US .

Those people are lucky they haven't been wrecked by a mob of angry soldiers mourning their friends.

I do believe the government should stay out of it, but the people themselves? Fair game.

it was obviously meant to be a joke (there's no percentages in that graph, and it looks like pacman swallowing the other religions), but even so it's probably closer to the US distribution than your chart which looks like the world's religious split. I really doubt 21% of americans are islamic.

To me the only stats on religions are of a Global scale. Just because America is majority Christian means jack shit on a Global scale, we are a minority in the world as far as population goes.

Either way, Muslim, Jew, Christian, all pray to the same god. Athiests don't believe in anything so why fight about it?
