i really think it's only conservatives who see this as a race of the lesser of 2 evils. i dont see obama as an evil at all.

from everything that i can see, he's doing a great job given the situation. i think 30 years from now we're going to look back and see that obama going down in history as a great president.

Well, that's true with any vote, but I was referring to the loophole around the filibuster the Dems used to pass the ACA. They could only do it if they tied it to the budget, otherwise it would've been filibustered like so many other bills they tried to pass. That's in my view why Obama looks like he can't get a lot done. Had there been no Republican filibuster, we would all be sleeping on mattresses of money and living in gold plated houses. ;)
