Debt and Deficit. In the past 17 Presidential terms, nine were GOP led and eight Democratic. Of nine GOP Presidents, six added to debt/GDP and deficit/GDP as a percent. The only three that did not, had a Democratic House and Senate. Of eight Democrats, each one, reduced deficit/GDP and debt/GDP as a percent. That is 66 years of rhetoric of fiscal responsibility with zero net results for GOP. What makes matters even worse, is the fact that the president who added a historical 20.7% to the debt has one unique aspect of his presidency – President G. W. i disagree with the US courts a bunch. that doesnt change anything. im 99% sure that everyone that that frequents the P&R forum can find things they disagree about with the US courts.

1. calling a fully grown man boy is disrespectful to start with. he's a man, not a boy.
2. calling a black man boy is racist. there is no way around it. the term started with slavery. most of my black friends agree it's almost as bad as calling someone ******.

vedubin is purposefully using it because he knows it's denigrating and disrespectful. it's offensive. just like mrsleeve calls romney mittens all the time. that's also disrespectful, but that's not racist. if you want to test this out, walk into camden, nj and call out to the first black man you see, "hey boy, where's the the closest gas station." go ahead and see what happens.

i think if everyone lived like the poorest of the working poor just once in their life, some of us wouldn't be such vindictive waffleswaffleswaffleswaffless when in came to stuff like unemployment, welfare, medicare/caid.. yes there is fraud in these systems but again, we can't judge the character of the majority on the actions of the minority.


that's why i vote democrat. i think the republican party (of course the dems too but to a far lesser extent) characterizes values that are vindictive, self-absorbed, and lacking in compassion.

Speak for your self, I grew up on the bottom side of working class, we were poor, not dirt floor poor but we did qualify for food assistance and free school food most of my child hood. You know something we NEVER took those things because we didn't need them. We were raised to take care of our selves and help our families, I have been that poor as an adult working man too.

I have made. Sacrifices and worked my ass off to not have to live like that again. If I can do it anyone else can and should be able too as well
