    PBS Frontline "The Choice 2012"

Anyone watch it on TV last night??? It's a must see for voters IMO.

    http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/choice-2012/

After watching it I have greater respect for our President, strangely enough at the same time I have finally decided to cast my vote for Romney.

Repost. (3 threads down). But I agree. As a democrat, I have more respect for Romney, but at the same time I would say the documentary solidified my choice for Obama.

Did you watch the same documentary that I did?

Frontline showed that, without a doubt, Romney will say and do ANYTHING to get elected and to gain popularity. Obamacare IS Romneycare. How can someone who passed a piece of legislation in Massachusetts then go on to speak so harshly of it in a Presidential election. And how can someone who was so pro-choice during his time as governor, then go on to say that he believes the opposite in the Presidential election. He does not have principles, he just does what he need to do to get votes.

Romneycare is not Obamacare. one is at a state level and not manditory, the other forces us all to do it!

plus romney is not "saying anything to get elected". he comes from a business backround that knows how a business works. if anything obama says anything to make people happy, even lieing about "things romney is going to do".

sorry, but it was obama himself saying that if you dont have a record to run on, you play a dirty lieing compaign, something he is doing.

Uhhhhhhh, Romneycare DOES have a mandate. It's the EXACT same piece of legislation as Obamacare.

I guess you didn't watch the documentary either, or if you did your fingers were in your ears when they were talking about Romney and Romneycare.

I think what I took from the documentary is that Romney is not the RWNJ I was worried he would be, he just plays one on TV to get the votes. He is more of a centrist like Obama, but I completely disagree with his approach to trying to fix things. I also gathered he was somewhat awkward as a politician when Governor of MA, whereas Obama has always been one to try and compromise and bring both sides together, which turned out to be one of his weaknesses as President.

You're usually pretty on point, but come on. Really?

Obama has been anything but. Well, in reality, he's let his lackey's like Frank/Wasserman-Shultz/Pelosi take the brunt of heavy lifting in the public eye.

But even when he had the WH/Senate/HOR........he still couldn't pass a budget.

              Be objective.

Did you watch the documentary? I was essentially reporting what I thought was a summary of what I took from it. They talk about his efforts of compromise, and how Hillary knew that shit doesn't work with Republicans when she was running and that it essentially became his greatest weakness as a President. In fact they indicated the turning point as a President was the budget "compromise" where he decided to stop "extending the olive branch" to the GOP. You should watch the documentary first and if you disagree that perhaps I was interpreting that part incorrectly, then let me know.

Why do you care? Either candidate will be used to gain the same results... nothing besides our freedoms being taken away from us. Our representatives don't represent us and haven't for a long time.

                        ^

people Like you said the same thing about Hitler, Mao, Stalin/Lenin, and other various other purveyors of "change" and "social justice".

Maybe someday you will realize the error of this fallacy you seem hell bent on seeing the continuation of.

DISCLAIMER, this post was not a comparison of the the 0 to the tyrants listed in this post, just that some of the greatest evil, that has been set on modern man was beget from same style and type of rhetoric. History after all has a funny way of repeating its self, when we forget or fail to see the lessons learned from it.
