When you have the opportunity to live a better life on welfare benefits than a low wage job, yes. It's a very viable reason. In fact, a tutor I had for math lived on welfare for 3 years because, "I didn't have to deal with kids and got more money, why work?"

Now that I've gotten that out of the way, he was flat out wrong about his claim that Americans aren't dying because of a lack of health insurance. That is false.

And I can make the same argument about Obamacare and the death panels that are going to be set up (to save money of course). Some which are already working here in Oregon under the Oregon Health Plan.

Oh for fucks sake, those aren't death panels, they're a list of covered procedures for underfunded health care programs. They are 100% irrelevant when in regards to the ACA because the ACA simply doesn't have a death panel. That's a fact. Accept it.
