    Voter Fraud

since this has been an issue i created a separate thread for it.

there have been quite a lot of stories about GOP/republican voter fraud these last 6 months and it seems to lend credence to the conspiracy theory of voter fraud in 2004. here is the latest story to come out, this man was destroying voter registration forms on the last day to register to vote.

if you dont like my sources, feel free to let me know. i have dozens more.

“Prosecutors charged him with four counts of destruction of voter registration applications, eight counts of failing to disclose voter registration applications and one count of obstruction of justice,” according to a report late Thursday afternoon from TPM’s Ryan Reilly. More charges could be forthcoming, according to officials.
But there is more to the story, as evidence emerges to document that it ties into a still-expanding nationwide GOP Voter Registration Fraud Scandal that the BRAD BLOG first began reporting in late September, after we’d learned that the Republican Party of Florida had turned in more than 100 allegedly fraudulent and otherwise suspect voter registration forms in Palm Beach County. The story has continued to widen ever since, to a dozen Florida counties and several other states, now including Virginia, and even to the upper-echelons of the Republican Party itself.

and allow me to put on my tin foil hat here, but i just cant see how this is legal. but since it involves romney, im sure he can find a way.

apparently ****romney & co**** has purchased quite a bit of a company that controls ohio voting machines. this is a terrible conflict of interest and i dont care what anyone says. this is bad for the US. this is fraud. a person running for office owns the machines that enter votes? yeah. please excuse my tin foil hat because that shit is not kosher.

"Through a closely held equity fund called Solamere, Mitt Romney and his wife, son and brother are major investors in an investment firm called H.I.G. Capital. H.I.G. in turn holds a majority share and three out of five board members in Hart Intercivic, a company that owns the notoriously faulty electronic voting machines that will count the ballots in swing state Ohio November 7. Hart machines will also be used elsewhere in the United States.

In other words, a candidate for the presidency of the United States, and his brother, wife and son, have a straight-line financial interest in the voting machines that could decide this fall's election. These machines cannot be monitored by the public. But they will help decide who "owns" the White House."

      this is straight up bullshit.

and feel free to post whatever you want joshh.

that's a great argument you guys.

good job. it's about as clear and concise as romney's tax plan. and in truth, most of his other views as well.

              It was a joke....lol.

But seriously, I'd care more if Democrats haven't already been caught time and time again even in court (Nevada Acorn) committing voter fraud.

Now if the courts took it seriously and Congress took it seriously then game on. And no I'm not saying it's ok if this is true....

huh, you never fail to fall back on that argument. time and time again you pull it out, it's really getting to be old hat. "well they did it to! nyah nyah nyah!" come off it and make a real argument.

i read the article on nevada acorn. that is bad. they gave bonuses to people who signed up more voters. that could potentially give the registrars an incentive to fluff their voter registration forms. very necessarily that is illegal and im glad they were caught. and i couldnt find anything that stated they were only signing up a one particular party, seemed to be a non-discriminatory voter fraud. i dont see how this form of voter fraud was either democrat or republican.

                FURTHERMORE.

that is very different from REPRESENTATIVES FROM ONE PARTY throwing out the other party's registration forms and THE PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES FAMILY buying the machines that people use to vote.

the last one especially, i would think you would be up in arms about it. it is an affront to everything american.

Jesus read what I said. I don't like that either side does it at all. But what do you expect if you can't even hold your own party (Democrats) to a higher standard? Then the left goes balling when Republicans play the same game...lol. It's fucking hilarious in that respect. It's called hypocrisy.

2008 Yeah who were they trying to keep from the poll to vote ??? Not really the "fraud" your talking about but this is just as bad if NOT WORSE, and NOTHING was ever done about it.

so in response to proof that romney owns interests in a voting machine company you post a video of black panthers outside a voting booth not doing anything. i didnt see them stop anyone. i didnt see them get angry or beat anyone. I'm not saying that i wouldnt raise an eyebrow, but i'll raise an eyebrow at anyone walking around with weapons. that includes you, i know you carry a HANDGUN most of the time you're out and about, or at least whenever you at work. which is most of the time. (source: taken from your past posts.)

that's a really weak response. and since you totally ignored it, i assume you dont care about romney (+family) owning interests in voting machines?

                      fantastic.

this is something that all Americans should be upset about.

Carrying a conceiled legal weapon is not the same as a notoriously racially motivated individual brandishing a weapon outside a polling station. A quick google search will show they were in fact charged for this but later lowered the charges questionably.

Josh is right, it's hypocritical to hold someone else to a standard you cannot meet yourself.

if the charges were dropped, you dont have an argument. back to the topic at hand.

DOES ANYONE HAVE ANYTHING TO SAY ABOUT ROMNEY AND CO. OWNING INTERESTS IN VOTING MACHINES?

You don't think black panthers wielding a baton outside a polling station qualifies as voter intimidation? Don't just try to dismiss it because the questionable outcome came out in your favour, there's a reason a guy resigned over it out of disgust. The charges were lessened, not dropped. You don't remain a criminal if you've done nothing wrong.

Point being, don't compare a criminal with a weapon to a law-abiding citizen (sleeve) with a legal one. That's pretty desperate.
