GITMO will not close... the Pentagon will override the decision regardless of what a president says. The complex is where the U.S. keeps captured well known terrorists.

So what you want to happen is to close the complex and let all of the terrorists out to attack us again? Ya... not going to happen.

Then why are you bitching and moaning about Obama not closing Guantanamo bay detention camp? Do you wish Obama had closed it?

I have some shocking news for you! You better sit down for this. Contrary to popular belief there are other prisons within the US that can handle a few dozen miserable failed terrorists. Shocking I know. Let that sink in for a minute before you consider your next response.

it's an old video, but it's still serves it's purpose. i'm sure it would be twice as long now. so yes, both change their positions. not just romney. oh and i'd rather have a mormon as a president than a moron.

it's not that people don't know other prisons exists. the problem is there are reasons the government doesn't (and in some cases can't) house those prisoners within the US

that's fine. like i had stated earlier, all of these polls and numbers mean absolutely nothing. especially ones that are from liberal sources or those so called conservative polls.

tomorrow, the fate of the nation is decided. either we reject barack obama and socialism or america becomes another one of the great powers that did not fall, but committed suicide instead. we have heard all of the news up until now. can romney even win? yes he can. by how much? who knows, could be a close race or a landslide.

there are certain things that must be understood on the front end. no president in the modern era has ever been reelected with unemployment over 7.1%. if you believe the numbers coming from the obama regime, the unemployment rate is 7.9%. the revised unemployment number, which will be released a few days after the election must be disastrous for the regime to have actually ticked the unemployment number up instead of a dramatic reduction to say 7.5% which would have at least given him a shot.

another thing that presidents who are reelected have in common is that they all expand their electoral map for the second election. for a year, we have known that for obama, there was no expansion of the map. for a year or more, the obama strategy has been simply a stop the bleeding strategy.

from day one of the election, obama and everyone else has known that the campaign is not picking up any new voters. no one who voted for john mcCain in 2008 is now going to turn around and vote for barack obama. on the other hand, the number of obama voters who now regret their decision is overwhelming.

in this race, obama lacked the one thing that he has had in all of the elections in the past. he has not had a scandal that he can hang on his opponent. he has not had the nasty divorce file he could go through or get unsealed like he did against jack ryan in 2004. he did not have the allegations of an affair that he could use against romney as he did in 2008. this is why romney would not release his tax returns, and good for romney. the only prayer obama had of creating a scandal would have been for romney to release those tax records and have the team from chicago create a scandal over romney’s complicated taxes.

the media has done its best to maintain the facade that obama was winning or this election is even close. cnn, the most busted name in news, came out with a poll that showed a 49%-49% tie. however, cnn oversampled democrats by 11%.

certain polls do not lie. almost every poll has had obama below 50%. some of them are significantly below 50%. the only president to ever win reelection while being under 50% was bill clinton. he had ross perot to fracture the opposition vote. barack obama has no ross perot.

when an incumbent president is under 50%, he is in real trouble. when you are less than 8 hours out from the election and you are not above 50%, it is time to call u-haul because you will be leaving the white house. 90% of the undecided votes will break against incumbent.

the proof of the upcoming landslide is now evident in other ways. in campaign rallies, the tale is in the crowds. in 2008, obama brought in huge crowds, while mcCain spoke to tiny ones. today it is reversed. obama has been speaking to rallies of only a couple of thousand. in pennsylvania, a blue state, romney spoke to 30,000 yesterday.

So you don't like Obama because he didn't close the detention center at Guantanamo and then you follow up by saying its impossible for Obama or Romney or any president to close it. What exactly is your logic?

No... I'm not saying that. I didn't like Obama's policies from the start. All I am pointing out is that Obama did not follow through on his promises.

Maybe that he promised to do something that he knew couldn't be done, just to win votes.

Not that it's any different than any other politician.

driving to work through Denver today, I saw a lot of Romney signs, people waving flags, etc, none for Obama.

Even over the past few weeks, many Romney signs/stickers/flag wavers, zero for the O man.

                          Just an observation.

Why would you vote for someone who believes that when he dies he becomes a god of his own planet populated by his wives (plural) and offspring? I mean really. It sounds like fun and all and I'd like to be a god some day but why would you put some one that truly and viamantly believes something like that in the White House? What's next? A scientologist?
