Since it's Joshh, the reasoning probably goes something like this. Fisker makes hybrid cars, GM makes hybrid cars, GM was bailed out by the government, therefore Obama!

Once you get to know Joshh, you start to understand him a little better. Kind of like how you understand why the little baby is crying, or the chimp is throwing poop at you, even if it is a completely unreasonable response on their part.

Or progression in hybrid/electric is acceptance of climate issues as they're a potential solution, and that's just ridiculous. Hah! In your face science.

or maybe that the admin gave money to fisker as a "green company", then bragged about it creating jobs, only later to find out the jobs are outside the USA

The place where I visited and people were working on the car was in the USA...

But maybe the internet article you read disproves what I saw with my own two eyes in person.

So the only thing that makes a car cool is the volume of it's exhaust? lol

GM makes a lot of cars and sells them in China, so = enemy.

Jeep thinking about making cars there for Chinese market = enemy.

Romney telling lies about production moving from one of the most efficient auto plants in the country = standard.

you need to get out more and actually research something before you blow it out your ass. too funny.

With the approval of the Obama administration, an electric car company that received a $529 million federal government loan guarantee is assembling its first line of cars in Finland, saying it could not find a facility in the United States capable of doing the work. Vice President Joseph Biden heralded the Energy Department's $529 million loan to the start-up electric car company called Fisker as a bright new path to thousands of American manufacturing jobs. But two years after the loan was announced, the company's manufacturing jobs are still limited to the assembly of the flashy electric Fisker Karma sports car in Finland.

Are you claiming that Internet research supersedes practical experience?? Maybe if you were actually familiar with the industry then you would know not all jobs related to automobiles are directly involved in just final assembly.

According to your lack of intelligence on the subject, one would claim all jobs related to the 1st gen X3 must have been Austrian since Magna Steyr contract built it in Graz.

Fisker-schmisker. If I had to buy one of these new 'green' cars' I'd probably go for the Tesla Sedan. Better looking IMHO. Not to mention I wouldn't want to be in the same car club as the Bieber.

Also note that the article he posted is over a year old...

Yes, the first Fisker cars were built in Finland because it simply wasn't possible to build one here. The manufacturing capabilities did not exist (pretty fucking sad actually). BUT once Fisker was able to find a plant capable of manufacturing the cars in the US, that's exactly what they did.

seriously gwb, you should at least proofread your articles before posting them

The fiskers that burned down in the port were being imported from Finland. US production never got off the ground and chances are it never will. The right wing nut jobs in Congress made sure of that.
