I would say the main reason I dislike Obama is because he is generally a socialist. He believes that redistribution is a good idea and government has a duty to provide for people when in reality people need to provide for themselves.

I think it should be raised to 23, almost every 18yo is still living at home and influenced by what they read in the media. They don't care because they don't have to wake up and go to work and make ends meet.

I am 26 and did not get into the way the world works until 4 years ago. I am honest when I say that I did not care enough to wanna know where my tax money was going and who was getting paid from it.

It came off badly but yeah, I have had some nice long dialogues with some younger friends. They don't get into the boring facts and REAL issues, they linger on the more entertaining: weed, abortion and gay rights stuff. Then throw in the gun removal talk from Obama and they get all into "clean up the streets and violence shit".

I have a few home guns to protect myself, and I would be lying if I said I never chambered a round and told a drunk fucker pissing around in my backyard to get the fuck out.
