Didn't see it (at work, no sound), but didn't he pretty much say fuck you all? Good night.

Bernie Sanders made a rant a couple years ago that was popular amongst liberals and was turned into a book. I'm sure Paul's speech will be turned into a book deal as well.

Sad to see him go, I agree we need many more like him, it will never happen though.

Good guy Ron. Too bad more people don't understand what he says - but it's not in their best interests since like he said, politicians focus is more power, not more liberty for people.

Solid points on not enough people supporting both civil liberties and economic freedom. And government "solutions" beget more problems and a never-ending cycle.

I hate to say it, but I am a bit in the dark. Did he get voted out or just retire?

Texas Rep. Ron Paul announced Tuesday that he will not seek re-election next year. The eight-term Republican and libertarian leader who also served previously said he will instead focus on his third presidential campaign.
I hope he keeps running for President and calls people on their shit.

Even though jr. is a bit iffy, I'd jump on a Paul/Paul 2016 ticket.

I'd vote for him if he killed the patriot act and the department of homeland insecurity.
