sunk? how about always have been.

you think that when the allies firebombed Dresden (after the war ended, mind you. total revenge bombing on the civilians) that the bombs only killed the adults?

or how about the bible? have you ever read the bible? when the jews put a city to the sword they killed everyone. absolutely everyone.

humans are violent and twisted and we do terrible things to each other. so do all the other animals in this world.

The Germans surrendered on 8 May 1945. The bombing was February 1945. The rest you can have your opinion on.

ah, you're right. they were on the verge of surrendering. in any case, dresden had no military significance and it was simply bombed for shock and awe.

“Seventy percent of the Dresden dead either suffocated or died from poison gases that turned their bodies green and red. The intense heat melted some bodies into the pavement like bubblegum, or shrunk them into three-foot long charred carcasses. Clean-up crews wore rubber boots to wade through the ‘human soup’ found in nearby caves. In other cases, the superheated air propelled victims skyward only to come down in tiny pieces as far as fifteen miles outside Dresden.”
my point being, humans are horrible.

I agree with you, this is why I carry a gun to have the ability to protect my self from those that are horrible ;)

We are a violent and blood thirsty species, always have been, always will be. No amount of LAW and regulation will change this fact. While many of us have become more civilized, our society is only thinly veiled with civility. Because we are rich, warm, fat, and happy. remove anyone of those things and the vial will disappear with in hours

I'm not disagreeing with you there. There are so many examples it's sickening.
