thats not what I said now is it.

I am responding to those that say the Tallban news has more credibility than FOX. None of them have any real amount of credibility anymore we all know they are all pushing some agenda or another right ???

Cale mr Beck left fox news (TV, still has a radio show though) over a year ago.................................... His own network is doing rather well compered Al's.

Of course they have agenda's, they cater to their viewership. An agenda =/= bias, and I don't agree that Al Jazeera is any more bias. As an outsider I can tell you that Fox news is laughed at world wide where as Al Jazeera is quite well respected. Hence having journalists from all corners of the globe make it their goal to become a part of that particular network. They also have a VERY broad spectrum of coverage, check out the variety of work they do.

As for the Gore comment, congrats on making the assumption that because I think Glenn Beck and Fox news are skidmarks that that immediately means I sway to the left and rally behind them and their networks. My original post actually included my condemnation of Fox, MSNBC and CBC as all questionable news outlets which I don't waste my time with.

I accept that wherever I get my media, it will be tainted in some way or another. It's written by people with opinions after all. However I'll go any day with Al Jazeera vs. a network which attributes criminal behavior in America to a rise in atheism

Because no network in America has done anything quite so intentionally fucked up. Of course that will be argued....

Which is what news should be about. NEWS. Not the opinion of the so-called journalist.

I knew al jeezera was up there with the bbc~ fox news isn't even in the same boat. I admit I hadn't looked it up before further than the iphone app for world news so I checked the wikipedia.

"In the 2000s, the network was praised by the Index on Censorship for circumventing censorship and contributing to the free exchange of information in the Arab world, and by the Webby Awards, who nominated it as one of the five best news web sites, along with BBC News, National Geographic and The Smoking Gun. It was also voted by brandchannel.com readers as the fifth most influential global brand behind Apple, Google, Ikea and Starbucks. In 2011, Salon.com said Al Jazeera's coverage of the 2011 Egyptian protests was superior to that of the American news media, while U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton also opined that the network's news coverage was more informative, and less opinion-driven than American journalism.[4]"
Damn, seems legit. And then this:

"At the time of Al Jazeera's launch, Arabsat was the only satellite broadcasting to the Middle East, and for the first year could only offer Al Jazeera a weak C-band transponder that needed a large satellite dish for reception. A more powerful KU-band transponder became available after its user, Canal France International, accidentally beamed 30 minutes of pornography into ultraconservative Saudi Arabia.[7] LOL @ the French!

Al Jazeera was not the first such broadcaster in the Middle East; a number had appeared since the Arabsat satellite, a Saudi Arabia-based venture of 21 Arab governments, took orbit in 1985. The unfolding of Operation Desert Storm on CNN International underscored the power of live television in current events. While other local broadcasters in the region would assiduously avoid material embarrassing to their home governments (Qatar had its own official TV station as well), Al Jazeera was pitched as an impartial news source and platform for discussing issues relating to the Arab world.

In presenting "The opinion and the other opinion" (the station's motto), it did not take long for Al Jazeera to shock local viewers by presenting Israelis speaking Hebrew on Arab TV for the first time. Lively and far-ranging talk shows, particularly a popular, confrontational one called The Opposite Direction, were a constant source of controversy regarding issues of morality and religion. This prompted a torrent of criticism from the conservative voices among the region's press."
Even arab conservatives dont like them lol

I would assume american conservatives don't like them because they present both opinions on a topic, try to be unbiased even on sensitive issues, and they make arabs look like intellegent non-terrorist instead of the durka-durka-muhammad-jihad the racists bigots want you to believe in.

Of course they don't. Facts and reality would simply clash with their preconceived conclusions, therefor they avoid them.

The very phrase uttered by sleeve 'Taliban Network' proves he knows absolutely zero about the subject matter at hand and is merely venting his racist rhetoric like the poor, desperate troll he is.

Because western media is too scared to show the truth for fear of offending someone by presenting reality, they know that Al Jazeera will play it as they see it. Most people watch the news to stay informed, and as much as it would suck to have a loved ones execution (even a bit of it) made public it is IMO the responsibility of those trying to shed light on whats happening in the world to present the facts as they actually happen. It's the violent tendencies of those individuals which is causing conflict to begin with, are we supposed to keep that under wraps out of respect for someone? IMO it would be a HUGE disservice to an individual who died in such a brutal, hate fueled way to cover up anything other than the actually movements which ended that individuals life...something they do not show AFAIK.

Or do you believe that Al Jazeera plays things relating to executions as a triumph simply because they're in the middle east? Western news plays things relating to wars all the time, have you seen how graphic some of the stuff out of Syria is....or is that acceptable because it's not Americans? Without a better explanation for why you're so quick to tie a respected news network to extremists, I'm gonna go ahead and say you're being a little prejudicial.

Ever read osama bin ladens 'letter to america'?

You wont find it on american news networks for some reason.

                                (d) You steal our wealth and oil at paltry prices because of you international influence and military threats. This theft is indeed the biggest theft ever witnessed by mankind in the history of the world.

                                (e) Your forces occupy our countries; you spread your military bases throughout them; you corrupt our lands, and you besiege our sanctities, to protect the security of the Jews and to ensure the continuity of your pillage of our treasures.

                                (f) You have starved the Muslims of Iraq, where children die every day. It is a wonder that more than 1.5 million Iraqi children have died as a result of your sanctions, and you did not show concern. Yet when 3000 of your people died, the entire world rises and has not yet sat down.
                                ....
                                (b) The American people are the ones who pay the taxes which fund the planes that bomb us in Afghanistan, the tanks that strike and destroy our homes in Palestine, the armies which occupy our lands in the Arabian Gulf, and the fleets which ensure the blockade of Iraq. These tax dollars are given to Israel for it to continue to attack us and penetrate our lands. So the American people are the ones who fund the attacks against us, and they are the ones who oversee the expenditure of these monies in the way they wish, through their elected candidates.
Yikes that must be why nobody wants to publish that! Doesn't say much for unbias media here in the US~ we are just as much a propeganda network as the 'taliban propaganda network'.
