And, yes, I feel the legalization of ALL drugs would be fine in my opinion. The money saved "fighting the drug war" would pay for the clinical help for those with an addiction ten times over.

Anyhow, there are are too many gun wielding sleeves in this country for any gun laws to be made that would ever make an appreciable difference. And with 3D printing technology, you will soon be able to print as many working guns as you like from the Internet. But I don't think it's unreasonable to put a ban on assault rifles or other high magazine guns. You can still have a gun for hunting or protection and no one is taking away your second amendment rights.

In total agreement with herbivor and farbin on the drug war and it's corrosive effects on our safety. May I add that the militarization of the police seems to have sprung from this "war"?

On the ban on high capacity magazines, etc: It may not be "taking away" our second amendment rights, but it is an infringement.

I think drone operators will fly their ROV's where ever they are told to....

.....and once the "patriots" in the woods start shooting back, and/or US soldiers are killed, the gloves will be off because now they're fighting "domestic terrorists".

All with arms and many with the skills to hit targets at ranges far beyond the maximum effective distance of what a average rifleman's "assault weapon" cartridge is capable of.

No anti-aircraft weaponry, no real-time threat tracking abilities, limited ability to re-supply, no central command with a reliable chain-of-command.......it'd be over before it started.

Most people serve nowadays not because the British are coming, but because they want a stable paycheck and dental coverage for little Johnny. The likelihood of them taking up arms against their own citizens, nill. In fact I believe a survey was done in the military regarding acting on orders to fire upon their own country and it was an overwhelming go fuck yourself to that order.

now, im sure if i spent more time i could find an actual gun for sale. not just someone looking to trade 1 gun for another. either way, shit is definitely out there. and im sure you could find one of these guys that are selling ammo, mags, or what not, willing to off load some guns.

Every time I hear someone say they need a gun to protect themselves from the government; I want to punch myself in the balls. If the government were to really take over peoples lives, not a single shot would be fired. They'd simply release a biological agent. Government revolution of people will happen without a single shop fired, they don't need the guns to do it.
