this case should have never even gone this far. It was all politically and media driven, by people who want to play the race card at any opportunity they can get. Al Sharpton and the NAACP have already started running their mouths. This is the type of situation that disgusts me to be an American. I don't know if Zimmerman is a racist or just a vigilante idiot, but you don't have to be white to be racist and Zimmerman doesn't have to be racist for the situation itself to be about race.
If a middle aged black man followed a high school aged white kid and then an ensuing scuffle resulted in said unarmed white kid being shot in the heart, there would be no debate. The adult would be at fault because A. He admittedly followed the kid with no evidence of wrong doing B. shot him in the fucking chest.Comment

So as far as we know he said he was being followed. Of course at some point the girl on the phone said she was 2 yrs younger and gave a false excuse of why she didn't go to his wake.
We also know that Zimmerman did start to follow Trayvon and was told to stop by police. Now George says he was going back to his car but he has a vested interest in his innocence. We could get Trayvons side but he got shot and died.Comment

Following someone is NOT A CRIME, Attacking someone and pounding their head into the side walk IS.
Regardless if dip shit ( I call him dip for using questionable yet not illegal judgement) followed a suspicious person in his neighborhood or not, if he a verbal altercation with said person about what he was doing in said neighborhood or not, NEITHER OF THOSE THINGS ARE CRIMES. The kid didn't even look suspicious.
I'm pretty sure Trayvon didn't initiate an attack. Dude should have stopped and left him alone. Even if he did attack, he had enough reason to if he was being followed by a creep.
