Oh boy, yeah Mexico and Peru....right. You guys sound butt hurt because you feel you are "paying" or suffering repercussions from "reverse racism." You are basically saying..."hey, what about me? what about our rights?" Same thing with Affirmative Action. By the way, why do you think that even existed? Truth be told...you guys are now getting a taste (not even a taste, more like a nibble) of what African American's in this country have dealt with for the past 400 years and you are already seething. You don't realize it and may even refuse to acknowledge it but you have reaped the benefits.
You guys are wondering why the media isn't showing black on white crimes and are outraged? Blacks don't run major media. Sad to say, perhaps Black crime is so common, it's not news? Violence in Chicago?...that's not news. People die everyday due to violence, they all can't make the news. In this case, you have an unarmed black teen who committed no crime, shot to death by a community watchman with no eye witnesses. People want to know what happened.
This case is similar to the 1955 Emmitt Till case where a black teen was brutally murdered in Mississippi for flirting with a white woman. The husband and a half brother later went and grabbed Till and brutally murdered him. The two men were not only acquitted but were eventually supported by their peers! (sound familiar?)Comment

^Exactly. But race is what fuels the narrative of the evil white man. Instead of us all being Americans, we are too busy being torn apart for the sake of breaking this country down. Why doesn't everyone unite under the flag as opposed to clumping up into little cliques that wanna fight each other and talk about how much better their crew is.Comment

I don't care at this point if I get banned from R3V for saying this or if the fbi comes knocking on my door from a red flag.
Someone needs to assassinate Sharpton and Jackson and get rid of the main causes of this racial pot being stirred in our country. He is causing way too many problems by jumping straight to race, race, race.Originally posted by Wh33lhopThis is r3v. Check your vaginal sand at the door.Comment

^ And now it's here to stay.
Just read the article, 20 years is outrageous. I could see 1-2 years, if she had a CCW permit she most likely knew the layout of her house and as such knew a safe place to shoot. At least, I would hope. If I was in an altercation where I felt a need to fire my weapon, I would be damn sure that if the bullet misses its target, I'm not going to hit someone on the other side.
Moral here? No more warning shots.Last edited by Exodus_2pt0; 07-19-2013, 04:04 PM.No E30 ClubOriginally posted by MrBurgundyAnyways, mustangs are gay and mini vans are faster than your car, you just have to deal with that.Comment

Alright assassinate may have been extreme...I was upset at the fact that they continue to stir the pot and I spoke out of frustration. But my opinion still stays of the fact that Sharpton and Jackson's presence in these matters (looking at only race and not at the actual situation) is not helping and is only fueling the wildfires that hit the media.Originally posted by Wh33lhopThis is r3v. This is so fucking stupid it makes me want to puke all over the media.
The Florida man cleared in the death of black teenager Trayvon Martin helped rescue a family from an overturned vehicle last week, police say.
Just a few clips, key words in bold for discussion's sake:
A Florida man cleared of murder charges in the death of a black teenager helped rescue a family from an overturned vehicle last week, police say.
Asked if Mr Zimmerman was being called a hero, the police spokeswoman said: "We're not going that far."
Second, they state he "rescued" the family from the overturned SUV. But yet the Police won't dare call the man a hero for fear of public shame. Wouldn't want to allow Mr. Zimmerman to redeem himself in the public eye too much now would we?
Sorry for this poorly structured post... I am infuriated and disappointed right now and is making me loopy. No E30 ClubOriginally posted by MrBurgundyAnyways, mustangs are gay and mini vans are faster than your car, you just have to deal with that.Comment

Now...Get over it damnit...the prosecuters did a horrible job and did not prove their case against George Zimmerman point blank.
ok i'm "black", i use quotes because i don't believe in "race", only different ethnicities and cultures.
For those that say "race" wasn't a factor. I partially disagree, "race" will always be a factor in this country...get used to it, it's embedded into America. If you really reversed the "races" in this case do you really think George Zimmerman would have got away if he was "black" and Trayvon Martin wasn't. That Marissa Alexander case is a perfect example along with so many other cases and especially police officer involved incidences where the person was clearly guilty...it's just expected.
I do hate the fact that "race" was such a big talking point in this case, but again it's embedded in the society, what did you expect. It's sad you only hear about these case's when only a "non-colored" person committs a crime against a "person of color". But i do understand why they make such a big deal about them, because the "non colored" person usually gets a "slap on the wrist" so to speak or goes free, meanwhile if it's a "colored on colored" or "colored on non-colored" crime the maximum penalty is usually issued.
The "colored" community whines and complains in cases like this but then turns a blind eye to the violence that's commited against one another everyday with that BS line "snitches get stiches" or "no snitchin". So i always say stop bitchin' when i hear "colored" ppl complaining about this case, when you start standing up against the crime in your own backyard then you can talk. Don't bitch and whine about something 5,000 miles away.
I'm sure there will be another outrage with the verdict in the Michael Dunn case.
..I like this country and I'm happy I can make a good life here for me and my family but, you better believe i'm trying my best not to get arrested(especially if i'm in Florida..lol)...Unfortunatley another young person has lost their life too early....
Anyway sorry for the rant..."I came into this world, not chiefly to make this a good place to live in, but to live in it, be it good or bad" -Henry Thoreau-
