in Bellingham yes but I don't actually live in Bellingham proper. the Canadians mostly drive right through our town and ignore it altogether. I live in rednecksville, WA. :p

This is such a great plan, oh well there are lots of rich people with too much money in the PNW I guess this will help to spread it around..... Its nice to see that those on the bottom will be getting a 33%+ pay increase only to see a similar cost of living increase to go with it, assuming you can keep your job with the associated layoffs with such a sharp mandated increase in overhead . Yup this will help, the unemployment rates will be going way up......

Not to mention all this does is hurt those that have advanced their skill sets, gotten education, and otherwise advanced up the wage ladder by earning it and working for it by allowing those that haven't to earn the same or similar money with out the skills.

I agree with Sleeve, no reason to read any more pages. Those jobs are not made to be careers, they are to teach high school kids discipline and money management while living under mommy and daddy's roof. Otherwise, why go learn a skill/ trade or pay for further education just to get paid slightly more than a high schooler? I wonder how many small businesses will get screwed on this deal too, as if they're not getting leaned over enough as it is. Welcome to big business, corporate America.

BOK center has been Top 5 in ticket sales in the country since it opened, food/bar culture is exploding downtown.........there is a surprising amount of cool stuff going on down here, lots of lakes and hunting.

Next time I am actually at the office I will take ya up on that for sure. But my self nor the wife can handle your summers. We are cold over heat people.... Last summer I had to walk into the office 1 or 2 days from the clarion @ BAE and 145th to the office about 3/4 of a mile at 630am and it was way too hot for me to be outside and do anything lol

Sleeve, the property here isnt cheap nor expensive. Local taxes arent great but there's no income tax. I think its too hot when it gets above 75. There's tons of outdoors stuff to do year round. The rain don't scare us :)

sounds a lot like where I live, we have no sales tax............ Property can be stupid, and reasonable, just a something that was mentioned and we have been discussing a little the last week or 2... and yeah 75 is pushing it for me as well, We are the people with the thermostat set a 65-67 in the winter and sit around shorts and t shirts like its normal

There's cheap property you just have to go further east in the county. Obviously property on the coast or in the city would be more expensive.

That said don't move here because i like it and there's too many people already. :p

If you can handle 90, you're good but for about 6 weeks per year.

Come down and see how cheap the Cost of Living is...........that goes a long ways to making up for the summers.......and a typical winter......1-2 days with less than 1"
