How about we let these jack tools who do this kinda crap, go to jail or die in obscurity. No sensationalism, just this jerk did this, now he's either dead or he's doing all this time.
Take away the thought that, "now they will pay attention" or "now they will remember me". When ass hats like this figure they won't be sharing air time with Kanye or whoever is popular at the moment from some reality crap show, it will loose it's appeal. Cut and dry, on to the next news story.
Unfortunately this kinda "news" is what sells. Then there are those who are all to willing to play to the camera, like a snake oil salesman, pawning off their newest "legislation" that won't do anything to those responsible, but will curtail the freedom of millions.
No one needs 15 rounds

I get where you're coming from. I'm a fan of guns, I intend to own several myself but I do not buy into the argument of "they're just a tool". They're a tool for killing and need to be treated accordingly. It isn't a stupid argument- it's too easy for too many nut jobs to get too many guns and cause too much destruction.
Any debate on reasonable limitations or complementary policy for mental health has been hijacked by people thinking they're about to get invaded by jihadis, Mexicans, or G-men in black helicopters.
However, restrictions on capacity are blatant attempts for the government to appear as though they are doing something to curb these sort of attacks when in reality they do very little to prevent maniac's from carrying out their manic intentions. It does nothing to address the underlying issue, and it does even less to stop these killings. A motivated individual with 3 10-round magazines is just as deadly as someone with a single 30-round, there is simply a momentary pause between mag changes. Ask any LE or military individual, the brief period while changing mags is only a moment of opportunity in Hollywood. The individual is still a threat until they're dead on the ground or entirely out of ammunition.
Not only that, the efforts to enforce these types of rules are hilariously done so in vain. Usually it's done so by non-permanently modifying a high capacity magazine to no longer accept more than the allowable number of rounds. To return the magazine to full capacity requires a little motivation and a few hand tools. If you want to justify spending millions of tax dollars to bring that to law, you're a fool.Leave a comment:

People don't use TVs to kill people. Mentally disturbed people don't assault people with watches.
Nice try.Leave a comment:

Haven't you noticed the drought in tx, ca, and much of the west nd south west. Many places are doing just that, several towns have no more than a 90 day supply of water on hand at any given time in recent monthsLeave a comment:

Who needs to take more than one shower every two days? Who really needs a nice lawn? Who really needs to wash their car? Let's severely ration water too, while we're at it.Leave a comment:

It's not about the fork, it's about the flatware storage device in the drawer you only need one large enough to hold a full 8 person place setting of flatware.Last edited by Farbin Kaiber; 05-25-2014, 05:34 PM.Leave a comment:
